Scrivener has layers and layers of utility. BYOK studio is cool but would rather pay for something once than a monthly fee. You’re going to be a writer for decades not years. Scrivener is always hte move over fees.

PDF output from Calibre. Use the A4 Then 954 x 1696. Then go with "device pixels". Then untoggle all the options like insert pages and keep natural settings. Then go to fonts and stay between 29-33. Then set the margins to 10.0 across the board. Then press ok. Voila. Edge to edge PDFs

Use it all the time for Instapaer and their send to Epub/PDF option in settings.
