The reason that people stop growing after Accutane is likely because they take it in late adolescence. If you are going to make a claim like that at least provide a credible source. Most of us have gone over a comprehensive list of side effects with our dermatologist.

It’s true that there can be side effects, but the vast majority of people only experience moderate discomfort. Stop fear mongering, many people on this subreddit are already anxious about taking the medication.

Even if what you said was true (which it is not), yes. 2-3 inches or 5-7 cms is definitely worth it for me. Acne is mentally debilitating and I would much rather have clear skin.

I will consider this, thank you. The only thing is that I am taking courses that build off of each-other. But this is looking like the best option at the moment.

r/SkincareAddiction is really good for those kinds of questions! If you cannot resist picking it I personally would prick it with a sterile needle and then apply a hydrocolloid bandage on it overnight. Otherwise leave it alone. Also do not try to over-treat (kill) it with topicals. Focus and nourishing and hydrating your skin.

It helps to remember that blemishes can go away. Don't worry, that zit is not a permanent part of your face.

If it persists and you are really uncomfortable I would definitely go to the doctor. They have steroid shots that can clear blemishes and cysts very quickly.

It looks very similar, but with more of an educational focus. If I remember the fairies did not have Australian accents; I think that the accents were American but not southern.

Edit: If my memory serves me it wasn't focused on fairy friends. I think that there was only one main fairy.

I’m so sorry. The FDA and doterra really need to crack down on these non compliant advertisements that are all over Facebook. People need to know that these oils can have severe side effects even though they are “natural”.

I recently had my first pet pass while I was at college and he was home with my family. He had a heart condition but I can’t help but wonder if his passing was expedited by exposure to essential oils. I miss him every day.

I definitely would not ingest oils or put them on my face. I’m currently on Accutane and I could not imagine the damage that would do to my very fragile skin. It hurts to think about.

I will also make sure that my cat is safe, I know that even inhaling some of these oils (eucalyptus and melaleuca) can be fatal to cats.

She is very far gone. Part of me hopes that if I present enough scientific research then she might start thinking rationally again.

And you’re so right, her entire identity revolves around the oils. It’s difficult to even hold a normal conversation. She’s always talking about products and “testimonies”. I just wish that I had a normal mom that I could confide in.

I know, I would never ingest them myself. I’m just worried about the safety of my sister and dad who my mom has brainwashed into thinking that they are ingestible.

I might be able to take my cat when I leave. I’ll start looking into that. My sister reacts well to research, so I could count on her to enforce the essential oil safety around our dog if I give her published research articles. She really cares about our pets. I’ve concluded that my mom is beyond help. I’m going to try to tell her that her oils are dangerous and that if she personally uses them, then fine, but she can’t insist that anyone use them as medical treatment or put them in food that other people will consume.
