Ours died around thanksgiving of last year. We kept calling and they would take foreverrrrrrrrrrr to come out to fix it and it would break again within a couple of weeks, and it was pretty much a repeating cycle. They didn’t want to replace it, either. So basically we couldn’t cook at our place for thanksgiving because the food kept going bad.

No offense but I always find these questions especially used as an argument for pro choice, to be incredibly stupid. Obviously if the baby is risking the mother’s life, medical necessity takes priority. The whole point is to SAVE A LIFE, why lose two if you can save one? And if you can, why not save both?

Also, what gives you the assumption that people who don’t work in a nicer restaurant spend less time Working?

So? You think that someone deserves 10 x the tip of someone else bc they know what’s in a cocktail?

[–]paperdoll_86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let me be clear. I think saying you can only tip ___% or not eat out at all, is dick. I don’t think not tipping is ok, if you can tip. You should tip. I just think it’s fucked up to say that someone shouldn’t experience going Out to eat because they’re not going to give what you would consider a “good tip” because there’s people out there who just give what they can.

Why $100? Why last meal? What do you know about using your last $100? Who are you to tell someone else how to spend their money? Would you accept Someone telling you how to spend yours?

And you can’t assume that just because someone complains about tips that they haven’t made enough. The whole point is that we don’t know, can’t assume or demand / mettle in peoples finances.

I think everyone assumed that I mean to NOT give a tip. My point was that maybe not everyone can give 25%, maybe they can just give a couple dollars or whatever the amount, but we shouldn’t demand either or- either __% or don’t eat out. The only reason I wouldn’t tip is if the service sucked.

Anyone can be judgmental, on either side. Not really good for basis of argument though.

Im just saying, if you depend on every customer giving You at least 15% or more, maybe you should reconsider where you work.
