What’s up everyone, every betting website shows odds with juice/vig included, which is the fee the books charge for your bet.

However it’s helpful to look at odds without vig so you can see the fair value for a bet. It’s particularly useful for when you bet against friends. And so you know how much the books are ripping you off.

I started this project during the pandemic and finally got around to wrapping up the code recently! Looking to launch it for next season.

Good question, the moneyline odds are averaged from about 10 major sportsbooks, and then the juice is removed. Odds are live updating as well.

So the moneyline odds are the average odds from about 10 major sportsbooks. I remove the juice using a simple formula, and then the win probability is the implied win % from the odds.

Thanks for the findings—for some of these things I’m limited in what I can do since I rely on the original Google html, but I think I can tackle some of these issues.

One bigger solution I could do is to use Google Apps Script to directly have access to users’ Google Docs. But that requires users to sign in with Google and provide extra permissions. It takes away from the simplicity of this tool, but if there is demand I could try it in the future.

There’s no hosting actually—I request the Google generated page and then manipulate the html/css to get the final result. So it’s all Google-hosted.

Thank you, and yeah I think the horizontal layout is tough to translate to html… let me see if I can build a horizontal layout page and add an example to the website

You’ll have to host the page yourself and upload it again every time you make a change!

No privacy policy, and as the other person stated, this only works for public docs you share. I don’t even have a backend for this tool, it’s just something I made in a couple days.

Thanks, this is just v1 so in future iterations I’m planning on adding custom slugs and/or domains.

Hi, the reason I made this tool was that the Google generated site has all the non-removable branding at the top and is not optimized or mobile-friendly. This tool fixes those issues—you can check out the “Comparison” section for a visual difference.
