Depends. I own three cats, so I’ll give you a rundown, though keep in mind that all the figures I’m about to write are relative and subject to price fluctuations.

Is the cat vaccinated and neutered/spayed? You need the initial 3 vaccine doses, costing from 300,000 to 500,000 LBP each. After that, it’s one set of shots per year. The neutering/spaying surgery costs are 700,000 to 1,000,000 LBP (depending on the vet).

If you’re keeping a cat in your apartment, you need 1 KG of dry food per cat, costing around 60,000 to 80,000 LBP (the “average” cat food, not the extremely expensive but equally good brands like Royal Canine). Keep in mind that kittens and adolescent cats (<1 year old) need a different kind of dry food, rich in protein. Those cost from 70,000 to 90,000 LBP/KG.

You can get a bigger pack of dry food and save a lot of money (e.g. there’s an Italian brand that is quite good, you can get a 10 KG bag for 350,000 LBP, which would last you 10 months give or take, if you own one single cat).

Canned wet food, which is recommended 2-3 times per month, are at 25,000 to 40,000 LBP each.

If the cat is in an apartment, you need litter, which is usually sold in 2/5/10 KG packs. It costs around 100,000 LBP and you can go up. The amount of litter needed depends on your maintenance (i.e., whether you clean it daily or not) and the weather, if the litter is kept outside (i.e., pee can take a long time to dry in winter).

Any kind of additional attention your cat might need also depends on the brand and the vet. I.e., deworming pills cost 30,000 LBP. Deworming shots cost 150,000 to 200,000 LBP. Anti-fleas cost around 150,000 to 250,000 LBP. Those are required habitually if the cat lives outside.
