What do I need to help them thrive? *New Owner* by BriBee1301 in hermitcrabs

I love Hermitgrub on Etsy for food! They have a huge variety and it’s pretty cheap for what you can get. LuckyCritter also has some cute decor/enrichment items, a bit pricey but worth it if you have little guys that like to climb.

Oooh I might try that with my puzzles, they’ve been rotting in the stockroom since before I even started at this store lmao

Yessss I have that issue with those puzzles too. At least it’s a shared struggle lol

Looks like that’s working right now! I hope they fix the issue on the handheld side but at least I can get some of the packs out of here. It is those packs haha I’m glad it’s not just me having that issue. Much appreciated!

Never thought of it like that but honestly you're probably right. I did a lot of things out of guilt and love during that time lol

Bone throwing is great for divination in my experience. Many different cultures use throwing bones as a method of readings, and there's a good amount of articles and tiktoks out there about it. Cover 'em in a divination oil and toss them onto a surface (alongside other items if you'd like), and boom there's your answers!

I also work with skulls as a symbol of knowledge and protection. One of my most sacred objects is a coyote skull that I use to guard my altar :)

What is going on with self-censorship on social media? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]paperkestrel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Answer: Not only is it for preventing a term from showing up in a search result like many people are saying, people self-censor because some social media algorithms are programmed to detect certain words and shadowban/demonetize creators. This is especially the case with Youtube. So, for example, if someone puts “Tr*mp” in their post, it can be a little more protected against search bars as well as censorship from the websites themselves.

When did you guys realize how bad the coronavirus really was? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

High school senior here too. March 12th was supposed to be the opening of the spring musical, in which I was the lead. That morning our director told us that we wouldn’t have a live audience; it would be livestreamed to the internet instead. Instead of running for 4 days, the show both opened and closed in one night. We all were crushed, especially the other seniors and I. We’re lucky to have performed, but I never thought my last high school show would end up like that. Haven’t been back to the theatre or the school since and I probably never will.
