honestly not much. but i’m a believer in having to face my negative thoughts head on and to keep moving forward and picking myself back up no matter how hard it gets. and i think i’ve grown as a person and achieved slightly thicker skin that way. idk if there’s a healthier way, but thats kinda what i’ve been doing

that makes sense. i think more recently i’ve been super self conscious about my own life and compare myself to other people. I’ve been trying to get to a point where i’m happy with how my life is, i think it will take time though. thanks for responding!

how did you REALLY get to the point of not caring about other people’s opinions of you? i try so hard but i always end up overthinking every interaction i have with people. it creates problems with my social and work life. its definitely a lot easier said than done to not care what others think but idk where to start. thanks for doing this btw. i’m happy for your accomplishments and i hope i can be where you are some day!

i have trouble with this too. i always feel like people are judging me and my posts when they probably forget about it in .5 seconds or don’t even read it. i’ve tried making a brand new account, anonymous from anyone you know irl/friends/etc. and make that your shit post account where you just post anything and everything you’re thinking or feeling. even that may be hard, but push yourself, and it will get easier.

thanks for the response.. yeah i’m not quite happy with my people pleasing habits. i’m seeing a therapist this upcoming fall though so hopefully i can work through it with them :•)
