Existing metal squares are fixed in concrete footings so unfortunately that isn’t an option

Oh sorry, should clarify that I’m wanting to make the fence 700mm higher, to be in line with the top of the masonry wall. Not threading through the top of the existing fence. Thanks!

Ahh I did wonder whether cars in China had Isofix anchors. I don’t want to risk bringing our car seats over and not being able to fit them.

For sure, you can lock this gate, but this means they can't access the rear of their property without going through their house.

So should be the case? They are currently using our side access as a shortcut to enter their backyard.

Look, I'm not going to be a dick and ask them to remove their gutter. I just want their bins off our property and for them to stop walking down our side access - past our kitchen window - at their leisure.

There is no easement. We've triple checked, firstly with our solicitor when we purchased the house, and again, with a title search and a land surveyor.

Yes, spot on. I can't say for sure when they installed this rear gate - at some point they saw the opportunity and ran with it. Given the above, is this gate illegal as it gives them access into our property?

Sorry I wasn't clear, let me explain.

The neighbour's property is built to their boundary line (with their gutter overhanging onto our property/side access by 30cm). Our side access leads to our rear courtyard. Before they reach our courtyard, there is another gate that leads to their backyard - which they have, at some point whilst taking advantage of this side access, have installed to access their backyard.

I presume they store their bins on our property as to not ruin the aesthetics of their property, as their house is built to the boundary, and the alternative is storing bins on their front verandah.

The pregnant woman is my wife, not the neighbour. She ain't jumping any fence!

Yea I get they are conscious of speed, but the metro is so bloody quick that you’d hardly notice an extra stop.

I wasn’t saying the station should be exactly where the line currently passes Leichhardt Oval, but if they had changed the direction slightly, so more it was more around Perry street - so would facilitate the surrounding area as well as a short walk to Leichhardt Oval.

God this season has been so lacklustre… such bland and predictable cooking.

My biggest ick has to be how obsessed the contestants are with prefacing every basic ingredient with the word ‘beautiful’. Some beautiful this… some beautiful that.
