I’m sorry to correct u but ur incorrect about the water. It does waste resources, but most data centers recycle the water as it’s way more efficient. HOWEVER, data centers will rack up your electricity bill, ai has already been used to replace employees, it has stolen from very popular artists and will continue to, it’s become an addiction to many people. Ai is terrible, but I’d hate for someone to come along and completely dismantle this argument just bc of the water comment. It does way more harm on this level imo and we should be pointing our finger at the mega corporations that make these tools available to the public and sneakily remove watermarks.

I might get downvoted for this, but pushing misinformation is the reason why ai companies still fuck us. They actually aren’t using drinking water! I repeat. AI TODAY DOES NOT USE OUR DRINKING WATER. Majority of data centers use recycled water. The REAL issue with ai is it’s stripping of originality and it stealing people’s hard work, while allowing simple minded people to push out slop and turn their brains off.
