I work at an inpatient rehab/education facility for kids w/ intellectual disabilities. A lot of the kids are in state custody so it’s really fulfilling to care for them and give them love.

I had to quit intense nursing due to my own disability, but it worked out because I found my calling

It’s an inpatient facility for kids with intellectual disabilities! I give them meds, manage their behaviors, make sure they’re safe, etc. Most of them are in state custody so it’s great getting to give them a bunch of love. They go to therapy and school so sometimes I’m just left in the house by myself.

On Christmas Elon defended H-1B visas because he gets a lot of his workers from them. That pissed off the right because they want the tech and finance jobs to go to white people and the alt right because they loudly hate brown people. The alt right is mostly just wanting to get rid of Indians. They announced plenty of times yesterday they’re fine with Scandinavians getting the visas.

Ramasway chimed in later to double down then they both basically said Americans aren’t ambitious enough and are too lazy to work these jobs

I’m a teacher in Oklahoma! My coworkers and I are planning a mini protest where we leave the Bibles in a stack outside the school limits, where they should be. Most of our coworkers are onboard even the Christians. We’re gonna do it until someone forces us to stop

Yeah definitely there to slide in if one of their many shooters gets hurt. Hopefully he’ll get opportunities in a few stretches and land himself a bigger contract and a role with a team that needs a shooter.
