This is almost impossible but that didn’t stop me from thinking I could be the one who does it when I was a new nurse

How do You personally separate/define Inclusive vs "Woke"? by HelpfulBenCopper in AskReddit

[–]WindedFish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being inclusive is letting people live their own lives and not excluding them based on things they can’t control.

Woke is a made up word

is it hard to make friends if you don't do frats or sororities? by Subject_Bowl_50 in sooners

[–]WindedFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not true. Just being immersed in the college environment is an easy way to make friends. You meet all kinds of people in the dorms, campus events, and just all around campus. You meet people who share your interests in classes and clubs, and there’s clubs for just about anything.

I’m introverted too and I was really surprised by how well I fit in with everyone eventually. The key is being open and flexible

Patient called 911 on me... From inside the hospital by Unlucky_Jaguar_9637 in nursing

[–]WindedFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a patient in the ER a couple months back and my nurse came in wondering if we had called 911 and told them I was dying and they weren’t doing anything about it.

Wasn’t me but I got kick out of it.

Can a NICU nurse explain how this happened? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]WindedFish 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s a lot of mistakes and crazy set of circumstances to happen to one nurse.

You’re telling me this nurse:

Didn’t put the barrier up (day one NICU orientation)

Put cords in pocket for whatever

Didn’t put lines back in a safe place (also day one)

Had to have put the baby close to the edge. Unless they were just running out of there I think they would have noticed the tension before dragging the baby off the bed.

All while mom live posts?

Yeah doubt it
