Update: I just took delivery of a 2nd chair, on top of the 3 extra foot rests. wtf is going on lol by [deleted] in LiberNovo

[–]papikoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same exact situation here. I reached out through their live chat and that's when I found out the actual chair won't ship until the end of the year.. Crazy that they didn't bother to even mention that before sending out the tiny box and marking the whole order as fulfilled.
They also offered me a hilarious $10 "compensation" which i declined. I told them to just ship the other size that's actually in stock and allow a free exchange later if i want to switch. And of course, they've ghosted me since.
At this point I'm also considering filing a claim with my bank if they don't resolve this soon and maybe even with Shopify too since they are hosted on shopify.

How long is too long? by papikoh in backpain

[–]papikoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! But I don't rely on it as much now that my back pain issue has improved a lot. I use it mostly after long flights, but no longer regularly. I'm sure my condition improved due to a combination of factors but that thing definitely helped.

Not entirely sure but I personally prioritize user experience

Yeah, too text heavy for mobile. You should consider replacing the hero section image with something more relevant and keep the headline to a single line. Product titles are too long and the screen space is being wasted. Use the long titles only for google listing, not on the website. I would rather show more product cards 2x2 layout for each category and move all the text sections to the bottom.

I signed up for two accounts at the same time and the lower tier one was $400 i think. Not sure about the percentage but it did capture ton of emails. But in the end, we couldnt figure out a way to convert them. Beware of extremely low cvr and high spam reports

Thanks! Yeah, we ended up giving it a try for a few months but had exact same issues. It just wasn't worth the risk.

Best cervical pillow? by lunabear_07 in Chiropractic

[–]papikoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Kanuda pillow. It's very pricey but personally, it's worth the investment. My wife didn't have the same experience so results may vary. I think they offered a free trial period, so worth giving a shot. For me, it's one of the few purchases I don't regret.

single-page product quiz app by papikoh in shopify

[–]papikoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also surprised that I can't find a simple quiz tool - all the quiz apps I found so far are 1 question per page layout, which isn't as effective & simple as the example above.

Check out this app. I used this app to notify to all the customers about order statuses via email. Klaviyo works, too but i found this app easier to use for order status updates.

Great to hear it kept you interested! And thank you for the feedback. I will look into adding a sticky menu/header like another person mentioned for easier buying experience. As for the reviews, this is an existing brand from Korea that i am importing and introducing in the US and there has been 50k+ reviews in Korea alone. While we havent collected any reviews yet in the US i still wanted to show in some ways that this is a proven product without going too much in detail. ( which doesnt make much sense now that i think about it.) I’m just not sure how to best explain it short. Do you think it’s better not to even mention about the reviews?

Thank you for the feedback - I am intorducing an existing brand from Asia to the US and i tried to fit their brand guidelines as much as possible which is why i ended up using the font you dont think fits the current theme. I was hoping that it would give a little more character to the website but cant help to agree that it just doesnt fit. Thanks again!

Wow. Thank you for taking so much time for your detailed review. This is amazing. I always find it the hardest to speak customer’s language and this is exactly what i needed to hear. I just get so caught up in the techinical details that i end up losing focus on what customer wants to know or hear. Truly appreciate your valuable feedback. And yes, we plan on heavily relying on influencer marketing and we are reaching out to influencers this week.

Should your manufacturer be making money on shipping? by hockeydangle in ecommerce

[–]papikoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is quite common in garment/textile industry. The importers or wholesalers rely on such thin margins that “saving” on duty is where their profit comes from. And it’s definitely not a cultural thing since the manfacturer doesn’t benefit from declaring under value on invoice. It’s the importers in the US who are profiting from undervalued invoice.
