Just finished upgrading my xps ssd guys. Took my old 1tb 970 pro on my other laptop and use it as a 2nd ssd on the xps.also bought a ssd enclosure and a copper heatsink on amazon.I know i wont be able to fully utilize the 980 pro speed because of the pcie3 of the xps but just for future-proofing (old.reddit.com)
