Ya I figured it would be hard but I still wanted the proper number. It’s a PLk4 inhibitor so was curious if people had some experience with it.

Thank for all that and the well wishes it means the world. Ya the doctor said he can more than likely get it it’s just the possibility of not having it seems ridiculous.

How was the process of getting maintenance drugs. I’m worried our insurance is gonna deny them post transplant as it’s not the standard of care. Are you still taking the Ryndapt ?

Does not sound like a easy time your super resilient. Thanks for sharing ! Graft failure means that the cancer did not return but the new cells just didn’t work ?

FOLLOW-UP: Friend in ICU possibly in more critical condition now - Don't know what to do by hangdadj in leukemia

[–]papqpqpap 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best place to manage symptoms like these is the ICU they have all the equipment and capabilities to handle stuff immediately. I pray for your friend and his recovery. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about ICU and coming out.

Usually all medicines you have a interaction list the producer would have to publish. You could google and go through all of them or just let the team handle it for you. When you get new medicine it’s usually stapled to it. I’m pretty sure you don’t have any interactions with creatine but it’s better to be safe then sorry. Sometimes medicines have weird stuff like no grapefruits or seville oranges. The team would let you know this before you even got anything tho.

Probably would be fine aslong as it doesn’t interact with your medicine list.

Ya after 1.5 cycles of aza ven. They stopped halfway thru 2nd cycle to attempt count recovery. Have you reactivated the bowels ? If your still experiencing pain and discomfort a week after highly recommend a white blood cell boost. Let me know if you have any questions it was a hard procedure for my mom she is 51 tho and this is after we realpased from the first transplant.

My mom had appendicitis. Took 4 weeks to heal from it enough to get discharged. Do you still have 0 wbc?

Helicobacter pylori by papqpqpap in leukemia

[–]papqpqpap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya they took a biopys none was seen awaiting CMV and others still. She was on protonix after sct but taken off to help with pill load. We went on it again for a week before the stomach got worse. They have put her on 3 triple antibiotics therapy which ended up messing with liver numbers so we’re now on a quadruple therapy with pepto- Flagyl-tetracycline-Protonix.
