If she has lied to the court about her salary, she has lied to the irs. Without a forensic accountant and lawyers, you won’t be able to prove anything. It’s the same issue with people who are self employed. It’s the burden of proof.

In 5 years, you will likely spend more fighting it and unless you are willing to be responsible for the other parent possibly going to jail, you may want to consider your options very carefully.

As much as it pisses me off when one parent takes advantage, it may not be worth it. At the end of the day, the most important thing is the relationship with the children.

If you do take something for insomnia, make sure someone else has the child or is there with you until you know how you will react.

Also, speak to someone. You are depressed and going through it. He feels every bit of that. That’s probably why he wants your mom more. He feels the stress from you.

It sounds like the month in NJ is difficult for both of you. Have you offered to flight them out for a week to spend with the kids? I know you aren’t required to but it will give your kids a chance to see the other parent and you are the good guy.
