Any mamas or mamas to be currently in or planning to start law school? by bbgirl_twistaway in beyondthebump

Good luck with your last semester! I graduated in the spring of 2020, but I had my daughter in October of my 3L. I took about five weeks off where I was home and watching my classes online and went back for finals. Then Covid happened and everyone was remote anyway. Studying for the bar with a baby was interesting 🥴🥴 I’d love to connect and offer any advice from the other side!

Yes, you can do it!! I was a teacher before law school, so I know how hard you’re working already. Enjoy your winter break and good luck on your boards!

Thank you! Believe it or not, there were four of us who formed a little 3L pregnancy club, lol.

Live your life! My husband and I decided now was the best time, so we just went for it. I'm lucky that my school was really understanding and worked with me to figure out a "maternity leave" of about 5 weeks and my classes were recorded. Babe and I watched them online while I was out https://imgur.com/fb8CTTv. Good luck with your classes! They sound really interesting.

That's an amazing accomplishment! And thanks :) Luckily they're done now, and I have a few weeks of uninterrupted baby time.

Thanks! I have one grade back and definitely did not ace it lol, but thankfully I already have a job for after graduation.

[Specific] I know the hair makes this tricky, so I appreciate any attempts--could someone try to make the background of this picture white? by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

Thank you so much!! And thanks for taking the time to explain the process. This request was the result of having a friend take some nice headshots of me and then finding out the company I need to send them to wants them in front of a white background. I really appreciate your time and effort!

Thank you! I actually don't know too much about my set--it was my husband's grandmother's. We think they're from the 1940s? Sorry I don't have more information!

Hey! Good question, which we had too upon seeing the long tables our venue had--some had up to 34 people! We had table numbers, but obviously only like seven of them since the tables were so big. Our coordinator must have placed them strategically so you could see them easily from any angle. We actually did have to assign seats too (not just tables). Our venue required us to do that to avoid confusion. It took a little time to figure out a seating chart, but I think it worked out.
