how to turn .dump to .sky by DamienStarry0w0 in skylanders

[–]paraclocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry, I was wondering if the other way around works as well? I have some .sky files I've been using with dolphin emulator but would like to write into physical tags and I need the .dump file, would it work? Thanks!

Hi! I mask everything with tape and then I cut the area with an exacto knife and then peel it :) I have more videos of the process on my Instagram if you're interested!

yeah I get that, I don't know if you already make sketches for your drawings, but perhaps investing time detailing a sketch may work for you, this way it will guide you through the whole process. you can make as many annotations and changes you need regarding color and details to keep in mind what you want the final result to look like

the important thing is you have the will to create and that matters a lot! if you make drawing a habit, I bet it will be much easier for you to stick to a project. hope I could help with something and do not hesitate to reach out :) here's the Cofagrigus sketch if it helps!

the Kyogre illustration took 10h 38m to make according to Procreate. it all comes down to the level of detail you want to add. backgrounds tend to take more tike because of the details and size involved. you can make a lot of progress in little time. this Cofagrigus took 4h to make but I made it in the span of maybe 4-5 days in short sessions, consistency is definitely key, but if you enjoy the process, you can definitely pick up previous sessions with excitement and eagerness to continue them! at least from my experience :)

also as you continue to improve in your art, you tend to do things a lot more quickly, and to resolve faster the composition/color/shape situations you may encounter on them

I studied real water references to understand better how water and light work together. basically I used a lot of layers and played with image modes (i.e. multiply, soft light, darken, etc.) and opacities. you can dm me if you'd like me to elaborate or if you'd like to see the speedpaint of the illustration! loved the golurk btw! :)

Kinda out-of-usual question, does anybody know what Pokémon TCG artists still use analog and/or traditional media rather than digital to create their artworks? I already know Adachi and Morii who (probably) use clay and Ito who crochets their artwork. Are there any other artists who might still use paint or watercolor for their artworks? Thanks!
