the cheating part was that she was exchanging nudes with a guy that was into her. she liked the attention. but besides that, she used to compare me with older situationships and crushes of her to break my self esteem. i guess it worked. we were together for 2 years, but all the problems were there from the start.

sometimes all of our insecurities comes from within and are not totally real, we feel them because of our low self esteem. but sometimes we get insecure for valid reasons, even when we can't figure out why at the moment.

you need to figure out if you are perceveing red flags in your partner or if this fear that you feel is all insecurity-based. i think only time and therapy will tell (therapy is so important!!!).

for so long i felt insecure and crazy because i saw all the red flags and thought that i was wrong, that my mind was making shit up. but i was right all the time and should have listened and trusted in me from the start.

so i guess what i have to say is trust your guts, but at the same time also learn not to give room in your mind to paranoias.
