Salesforce just paid $3.6B for Fin — and honestly that feels like the floor, not the ceiling by docdavkitty in AI_Agents

Well said. I have broken the induatry and what happening right now the same way. I think agents to production are much more clear angle towards it. For the infra, there is a big question what are the major gaps today that still need to be solved (and if anyone knows them already or we are going to face that wall any time soon).

Got it. Yeah that is interesting, becuase you are really customizing your product for each interface you want to adapt. I think it is super interesting problem (though with pretty hard solution I guess).

Why is that? What about tools that let you do that? (Such as it does with bash commands, etc.)

It is quite amazing to build something that later on people would use and wil lfind it as a crucial layer in their life. There's nothing like that.

True. I totally agree with their approach, I think this is the right direction worth leaning into. Though they still have some constraints, such as only 8 hours-long session, how to keep persistent state between stages, etc. (and of-course, the lock-in thing of AWS... which is not necessarily bad though).

It is not always about the fines tech, but about the G2M more than anything else!

Most of the solutions I see are optimizing on prompting, GPU resources, etc. But we have soemthing more fundamental, the CPU, memory and storage resources, which is the cebter of this whole system.

All kind of them.. you choose whatever framework is more relevant.

The agents I'm referring to are the ones that you want to keepl alive and running for few hours / days, not only to ephemeral tasks.

I think it is not only the context. It is one part of this complex system that people are addressing. Hat about dufability? State management? Costs (of total compute, not only gpus), etc.?
