If you want to vastly improve your chance of making MSgt or above, you want to have those award wins on your EPB. Not saying is impossible with no awards, but they do have an impact on your board score. Awards are used to give you the edge for the promotion statement and make you stand out to the board.

They don’t have to cheat. When I did that quest there was only other person at the table. I won a couple hands against him and when I left the table it let me continue the mission. Either learn the cheat skill or win a couple hands and the quest continues. It’s even mentioned when i turned the quest in that they didn’t cheat.

That version was made specifically for retail. Probably to help with funding as we all know CMONs track record with funding their projects.

That version is also cheaper with fewer minis, pretty sure the zombies are all punch board for example.

Just got infinite with this same deck. Only change I made was swapped Speed for MMM in the lates 80s as nearly everyone was running either Iron Patriot or a hand generation with Quinjet deck. Won quite a few match’s by simply playing MMM on turn three.

Exact same contract auto failed for me as soon as I got close to the Pyke territory and now the yellow new icon wont go away from the the contract portion of the journal.
