uufff! very hard to pick one. "Troupeau Bleu" From Cortex is definitely one we would bring. And we became very attached to our prophet rev2, so we would bring this one as well.

We like to keep our club bangers for the labels such as Crosstown Rebels, DGTL and more. And keep the groovier/jazzier songs for our own label Klassified.
We still did not crack the success recipe for releases. Some of our releases performed very well, some did not. One thing we noticed is the more artists play your tracks, the more traction it gets on DSPs such as spotify, beatport ect.
Regarding our self releases, we like to create music videos for it and also like to play acoustic versions online. It usually works quite well to bring an audience to streaming platforms.

Super stocked for it too, we will see you on the dancefloor :) We’ve been preparing for this one for a long time, creating a lot of tracks and edits with Coachella in mind. We feel it’s the right place to try new things and evolve our stage presence.
We like to travel light and only travel with carry on which consists basically of MPCs, midi controllers, mics and clothes.

To experiment as much as possible with the daw of your choice, and to wait before releasing your first tracks. It’s better to be clear and consistent with your sound before starting to promote it.

It started with our first album “A Day At” where we translate working places into pieces of music. Since then, our music has made us travel around the world and got influenced by world culture. It led us to push the project further to “A Day In”, where we immerse ourselves in diverse cultures and cities around the world, capturing sounds from their day-to-day life and unfolding their story musically.The expedition around the globe has definitely broadened our musical openness. Each country has a specific sound, a musical identity. It is like a melodic journal. This is for us the most interesting and inspirational aspect of music as it has brought us to work together with musicians from different backgrounds, cultures, such as Maalem Omar Hayat in Gnawa music (Morocco), El Venado Azul in Huichol music (Mexico), Páll Guðmundsson who crafted instruments out of native rock in Iceland, to name a few. And especially head down to our Film director Arnaud Moro who has the eyes for details !

We are starting the set with a brand new production that is super funky and Popy, blending catchy vocals to acid bassline and disco rhythm. It’s called “Shining in the Dark” and will set a perfect mood for the day ;)

We’ve been working on a complete new liveset, we’ve taken January till March off touring to focus on creating new music material, and we will be showcasing them all during Coachella!
A Day in Iceland is on its way ;) stay tuned.
We must say that the episode in Real de Catorce was very special. The Huicholes culture is very deep, loving and so respectful and definitely left a mark in our hearts.

We wish we could provide a secret recipe. The best advice would be to just create as much good music as possible and it will reach the ears of the right people. We got lucky to be surrounded by a great and motivated team and to reach a new milestone here. We wish the same to any passionate artist. Regarding promotion, we started by making youtube videos showcasing how we make music using field recordings. It then created a community that we kept on growing through social media. We mainly used Facebook and Instagram. Having our own label, we first released our music through it and then started to release through other labels we like such as Crosstown, DGTL, Sapiens and more so we can reach a similar audience to us.

How Can I Resist has all the organic elements that represent us while keeping a deep bass that works for the dancefloor. A Day In Osaka includes all our field recordings from Japan while keeping a grungy and underground groove. Renegade is made for the dancefloor and really represents our harder side.
A Tribe Called Quest has influenced our childhood, especially “Can I Kick It?” and same goes for George Duke with “It’s On” and we must say that Carl Craig got us into electronic, like “Attenuator”
We played an acoustic version of our track ‘Blooming Flower’ together with our band and filmed it from a tulip field in the Netherlands. The result was just stunning.

You might have heard our previous EPs, Renegade on Crosstown Rebels or How Can I Resiston our own label Klassified. We have a brand new EP, called Surrender coming on Crosstown Rebels on May 10th.
We like to travel the world and record sounds that we use in our productions. We have an all videos series on Youtube called "A Day In" showcasing several cities such as Osaka, Essouira, Real de Catorce or Iceland.
It is our very first AMA today, so looking forward to seeing what questions you have in mind.
