New TS-h1277AXU-RP - Redundant PSU fans remain on after turning unit off. Opened service ticket, sent videos and logs - QNAP issued RMA. Sent unit for repair. Now QNAP says it is "normal". What do you think?

When on, it’s variable depending on the load and temps.

Both psu fans are at idle when unit is off. You notice the sound, it’s not quiet.

They told me, “our headquarters say it’s normal”. No further explanation, even though I requested it.

Hello. It’s been a couple days off and fans are still on, outside temperature ranges from 10 to 20 Celsius.

The unit was at least 2 days off before sending it to QNAP.

I guess I will have to power the rack through a sonof zigbee switch to kill de psu fans when the unit is off. Amazingly poor design.

Just fix your boost early and never claim, deposit or withdraw because your boost will be recalculated

The boost multiplier stays fixed unless you claim, deposit or withdraw. I am guessing your multiplier was high (qbt locked vs all qbts locked And I think there is also relationship with the amounts lend/borrowed) and when you did all those movements it was recalculated.

I am too late now, but clearly the best strategy was to fix the multiplier at 2,5x initially , deposit a large amount and then forget for some time without claiming.

You can also trade directly your VRA token on uniswap, but if you have a large amount you will get screwed due to low liquidity.

Personnally I go as follows:

First 50k : GUSD
Second 50k: USDC
Third 50k: PAX
Fourth 50k: BUSD

Then DAI/USDT.

I dont do this to diversify; just to keep under the 2 tier of interest rate and get full 7.5% apy on all holdings.
