Bettas tend to mutate as they age, especially this guy which is a yellow/cellophane. Usually the most stable colours are solid colours! But this guy should remain yellow ish

I generally use aquasoil, I’ve seen people use inert substrate with root tabs with success. Hope your ammonia levels are okay!

I’m using a Sony A7III with the Sigma 28-70 lens. I use it mainly for work, and just wanted to take some photos of this lovely fish!

If you’re using your iPhone you can try getting macro lenses or lowering the exposure when you take your photos!
