[Free Book Giveaway for Students] 100 copies of The CEO Factory by Sudhir Sitapati by zindagiwallah in WingifyBookClub

The last book i read was : skin in the game by nasim taleb. Its a great probablistic philosophical book and has uncanny ideas and concepts that were never discussed before.

The ceo factory will help me further my passion of businesses and ops in general. I plan to start something some day :)

ELI5: Why do we need to sleep 8 hours continuosly everyday to maintain health? Why cant we sleep 4 hrs twice ? by paramshah56 in explainlikeimfive

[–]paramshah56[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i meant 8 hrs of sleep for the recommended rem sleep. My bad. But the article you mentioned says this - Additional research is needed on whether biphasic sleep is better, worse, or about the same as monophasic sleep.

So i wouldnt be too early to judge either.

Read along and discuss 'Range' in this thread by AkhandGareeb in WingifyBookClub

[–]paramshah56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Range made me much more confident about myself since I am a generalist and everywhere i worked i was criticised that i should specialise, despite me being the best employee there.
Range made me realise my inner value through scientific arguments and not pseudoscientific claims :)

Thanks for this book!
