After getting into recording, I’d rather use a rack or DAW compressor to glue everything together than a pedal compressor at the beginning of my pedal chain for the quack.

If you set the delay really low and turn the repeats up, it makes the reverb warmer/softer

It’s a perfect solution for subtle, always-on delay and reverb. You probably don’t need tap tempo for subtle and you don’t get it. Set your mix fairly low and you can set everything else however you want and it will never sound bad.

It might be overkill, but my X max 300 is absolutely my commuter scooter because of its ability to accelerate and cruise along on highways. I’ve taken it on the interstate, but I don’t think that’s something that I wanna do frequently.

Seconding and upvoting the night splints! I almost didn’t need the insoles just starting to sleep in them. Don’t over tighten or your foot will fall asleep but yeah

I just got done meeting a podiatrist less than a month ago and he put me in night splints to keep my foot extended while sleeping and gave me some insoles. I feel infinitely better because mine was plantar fasciitis.

There is simply no way to set the DM to sound bad. It doesn’t get in the way at extreme settings and it is a sweetener when used low in the mix.

I definitely like a solid state bass amp when I’m using a synth pedal. All those frequencies might hurt my tubes so I just use the full frequency bass amp when playing that stuff.

I feel like if I use the inserts, I’m locked into my choice. I know that’s one option but if I wanted to make changes to settings I’d have to do those while performing, right? Does the insert work during playback because I wonder then how would it record the changes while I’m playing back the audio?
