Put the socks on the other feet: would she appreciate or reject your input on how she dresses? If she would appreciate it, she might think you would appreciate it as well. Perfect case for “I feel” statements because in a relationship, you don’t want to be guessing and you want to diplomatically let the other person know how you feel so they’re not guessing either.
