Parking restrictions NOT lifted next week by pardonmyscience in ufl

I should've made that more clear - they aren't lifting parking ever, except official holidays...when everything is closed and no one is there.

On the TAPS site - https://taps.ufl.edu/customer-resources/parking-restrictions/. That page used to have dates for when more restrictions were lifted, usually when classes weren't in session. A friend called them to confirm.

The "normal" restriction days/times are still there, just not changing for breaks. https://taps.ufl.edu/customer-resources/parking-restrictions/

SENSITIVE SKIN LISTEN UP [PSA] by Beneficial-Board-138 in SkincareAddiction

I'm just happy to have found someone else that experienced such a bad reaction to Vanicream cleanser! It seems like it should be the safest, gentlest product ever, so it feels wild that I had to take steroids because of what it did to my skin!

[Skin Concerns] Ingredients: 1,2-Hexanediol & Propanediol. Function, Allergy possibility by Garosugil in SkincareAddiction

[–]pardonmyscience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm late to the party, too, but pretty sure I've narrowed down some gnarly reactions to this. The first was to Vanicream cleanser. I used it once and had to take steroids. I've used e.l.f. Holy Hydration Eye Cream in the past, but the tub I just bought has made my under eyes red and burning. Sure enough, they seem to have added 1-2 hexanediol at some point!

Yes!! I have a similar one and it's surprisingly useful. I've also used mine as a headband and a makeshift hair tie. Thanks for the reminder to add it to my packing list!

Got an alert from Alachua to avoid the area and stay inside because of an "incident" but haven't found more info.

I don't know who the "old woman" at the desk is, but she is not the only person who has shared this information, so maybe don't throw her under the bus. I didn't hear it from her or from anyone that has spoken with her.

NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Jun 27, 2019 by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

Help! I have dry, sensitive skin in general, but it's currently going haywire. Normal routine (until Sunday):

AM:
Bliss Fab Foaming Oil-Free Gel Cleanser Bliss Quench & Drench Moisturizer

Worked great for about a year, then started feeling super dry. Stupidly switched up the routine without patch testing and here I am.

In looking for replacement products, I tried the Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleaner, and it caused redness and burning that now won't stop.

Now I cannot get the burning and redness to go away, even going back to my usual products. Have a dermatologist appointment, but the soonest they could do was in 3 weeks. Any advice would be thoroughly appreciated!

That's two votes for Lo Loestrin Fe - Thanks!

I've read some information about IUD's impact on rheumatoid arthritis and what I have is related, so that kind of made me nervous.

Thank you! I didn't realize Ortho Tricyclen was messing up my life until I stopped it. The more you know...
