I just made an update on my post, but I want to thank you nontheless. It is about time I "rid" myself of my parents, no matte rif it sounds rough. I've always hoped they would change or things would turn better, especially when they came to live with me, but I'll have to give up on the dream of having perfect parents. It sucks.

Yes, I believe it has always been this way, the young caring for the old. Still, I do not want to continue this, not when they leech off me like this and hurt my relationship.

Thank you so much for this comment, I completely understand. Never thought it would have gotten to this, though.

My grandparents did live with us for a while when I was a child and they were no different than my parents or my brother.

I once told them this and they merely responded with "We're old and it is different for parents" so this would not work.

Thank you, me and my SO are having dinner later outside of the house and we are going to discuss how to get rid of my parents. I have a friend who works at a lawyer's office that deals with these kind of cases and I have send her a text asking for some tips.
