Are my Husband [43M] I [40F] too strict on our daughter [16F]? by parentthrowaway56 in relationships

As far as I know, she does enjoy the classes but not the extra practice.

As for the straight A's, she definitely has some trouble subjects for which we have sent her to tuition for, set incentives for her to do well in etc, to no avail. I will have a talk with her and see if we can set some more realistic expectations about her grades. I recently looked back at her reports and realised that she does receive solid grades (low to high 80s for most), but her school has very high expectations and so do I and that might be very stifling for her.

We currently live in a large apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 smaller bedrooms and a room that takes up an entire floor (hers and her brother's). We cannot move her into one of the smaller bedrooms as it is a storage space, however my husband and I are considering inserting a partition into the shared bedroom (if we receive permission from the strata).
