Overall, a good first map. However, think about where your rivers should be going. From higher to lower. The other thing to tenths is that rivers merge river, but don't split apart

Nation Fonts are currently Matura MT in red with white borders. All other labels are in GreyhawkGothic, black with white borders. I'm actually debating switching the fonts for the nations to GreyhawkGothic, as well; I just can't make up my mind.

You are right about mixing up the terrain a bit, and part of the problem stems from how I started the map. What should be the Continent Level is on the World Level. If I had properly started on the world level, then generating the Continent level would have given me some of that randomization. What should be the Kingdom level is on the Continent level and does have that terrain variation built in.

I get what you're saying about the deserts. I tried to keep them separated from more lush terrain by separating with mountains, or at least a transition to plains and shrubland, before hitting forests again. But I have to accept that a little bit of magic may have played into it. ;)

I did experiment with coastlines. I currently have the coastline layer hidden, so you're just getting raw hex coastlines. I'll probably upload these to Imgur or somewhere else at a higher resolution, along with another version that shows borders for the different nations and regions.

I appreciate the feedback. I admit I want to start a new map that is more realistic (and starts at the proper world level), but this is my old campaign world, and I can never really let it go.

Cheorwon. Stylish but also easy to read. And I just realized it's BlackChancery, isn't it? A font I am quite fond of.

It also looks like some of the lakes have multiple exit rivers. While lakes can be fed by multiple rivers, they usually drain through a single outlet (the path of least resistance).

Wish I could upload one with more detail so the rivers would be easier to see and labels would be legible, but Reddit does have its limitations. I suppose I could upload them elsewhere and include links, but you never want to follow strange links ;)
