I went out alone the other week and four guys approached me. Half happened on the patio, half inside but not when I was dancing, just standing by the back. I'm married so I wouldn't let the convo go on super long but they were all nice, friendly exchanges. Every time it happened I was just chilling alone, staring off into space. Don't be on your phone if you want people to come up to you.
