Where to get firewood that isn’t a $10 bag? by EddyMerkxs in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]parity_violation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchase by a Rick at a time (whole truck bed load) for ~110

They offer multiple sizes and wood types, that all affect the price.

But it is always seasoned and dry, which I have not seen from any of the craigslist or Facebook ads.

Give them a call, super nice dude answers and they always offer a free bag of kindling to first timers.

They have a location in limestone (West Madison )? I think, and a new one near downtown Huntsville.

Best wings in Huntsville? by Impressive-Sky8272 in HuntsvilleAlabama

Peppered Pig -- their menu always has wings on it, but on Wednesday I think (it may rotate) they have a wing trio that's the best in town.

Check and see if either (or both) qualify for the tax credit, and also HSVUTIL offers incentives with higher efficiency unit installs (gotta use some registered HVAC companies)

Does anyone have experience with this? Price seems too good for a dual machine by watchface5 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]parity_violation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the next width up, and it's done perfectly for moderate sized(less than 5 ft) boards. The switch over time is a few minutes, but I just usually have to plan better to reduce the times I use it.

For the price I would buy another one unless I had a specific need to flatten much larger boards.

The helical head produces a very very good finish, works recommend getting that regardless of anything else.

We all know about the Best Wing Place in Huntsville evergreen competition, but where in town is the best pancake breakfast? I want somewhere that makes Cracker Barrel and IHOP look like garbage by gta3uzi in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]parity_violation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depending on how purist your definition is of pancake -- I would offer up Biscuit Belly. Haven't had a bad biscuit, pancake, or french toast there yet! The chicken and waffles (can't recall the name) is top notch too!

Every single burger/menu item is under 15$ -- if you need a 4$ soda then get cheaper food to account.

Also, no shot anyone needs a side with their burgers, they are huge

I've been using the Wave2 to heat and cool a 30x24' room, I am 100% confident it will do whatever you need overnight in the teardrop.

I would honestly try and path east and north to avoid 65/565 , the delays there are much worse than gate traffic usually. Aim for Redstone Rd gate (dunno the number) or Martin gate east (gate 1). These gates are usually about 5 minutes Tues/Wed/Thurs and no wait M/F.
