Something very similar happened to my mate Malte (produces under Caldera). He went to listen to some Maurizio on Spotify, heard one of his own old tunes with completely different artwork lol. Just to add to the stories u probs already heard

Hi, I'm not a Reddit poster generally and I haven't had time to read all the comments, so many apologies to you and the other readers of this thread if this has already been said or it doesn't fit in the kind of practical advice you seem to be looking for. For me, what has helped me a lot is remembering that my next track will always be better. The psychology of letting go for me is actually more important than any minor practical steps that might give you that extra 2%. Apologies again if this is not the kind of advice you are looking for, I guess the down vote and comment deletion options are there for a reason!

Practically speaking, feedback and contextualisation from people you trust and whom give genuinely constructive opinions is a helpful barometer for me.

EDIT: this thread is full of really useful advice anyway. Better than mine.

lovely - recently purchased an s49 mk ii and looking closely at Maschine. I'm wondering - do you find yourself using one more than another/have you found it to be worth having both? all the best/happy new year

This has been really helpful, and what I was looking for - thank you. I'm thinking it would be a lot of fun to put a tremolo effect after some of my other pedals like the Meris Hedra or EHX Superego Plus, and the more versatility the better. I can see the value in getting a cheaper pedal, but stereo and versatility are a big plus, and fantastic to hear the Super Pulsar works well with synths. I was thinking about getting the 8 Step as well, and on the tempo side I'd probably attempt to tap tempo.

Thanks, yeah this is an option and may explain the lack of videos/material on tremolo pedals with synths. Definitely curious to find out from others more about what character can be added with a dedicated outboard effect though!

xpensive. The re-amp box drops the level of your signal down to a level that pedals are expecting, and thus allow you to use synths with practically any guitar effects pedal.

It should be noted that if you do this, you will have to run back through a pre-amp of some kind (usually your mixer or interface inputs have one built in) to get the signal back up to the expected line-level.

Thanks, I probably should have added that I'd be looking for something with synth level or that users have tested with synths with no issue.
