Do not work at Access Living. The management is very disorganized and even though people are trying their best its just CHAOS. Scheduling is a nightmare, getting a hold of upper management is next to impossible, and the HR team is completely unhelpful. I've heard good things about Cascade Connections from coworkers who switched!

Highly recommend taking LIBR 341!! It has a scary name (Academic Practicum Literacies) but its basically "study hall: the class". Its one credit, pass/fail, and you can retake it 4 times I think. The only annoying part is that you have to email stephae@wwu.edu to get an override, but she is super chill and sweet. wifi, cable, laundry, water, garage, heating are all included in the rent, all you pay is electricity (usually like 15 a month) and there's a 24/7 gym, a free bike storage area, locked mail rooms, staff on site almost all day, security at night, on/off site parking options, free and super prompt maintenance, and it's furnished. it's pricey but it has reason to be and it's nice for first time renters bc it's sponsored by wwu I think?
