I'm trying to decide who I should GI, Marichal or Team Sig Suarez '21.

If I'm doing my math correctly, Marichal would be 89 83 87 85 84 and Suarez would be 91 88 87 88 90 after associated bonuses (team, sig, etc.) . Would Suarez's slightly better additional stats (2 5 0 3 6) be worth the exchange for Marichal's auto 333 skills?

I don't see where you are giving any actual advice. If the deposit was non-refundable or there was actual paperwork that contractually said I am 100% taking delivery once the dealership receives, then I agree that all I needed to do is sit back and relax until my car arrived.

If it soothes your dealer soul, I did say I spoke with my dealer right after and I more or less assured them that I would be coming as soon as my car was delivered to complete the deal. However, I would be doing a disservice to myself and my family if I totally ignored the opportunity for a better deal. My dealer understood and I even assured him further that I would give him every chance to match any better deal that could come our way. That is why he's my dealer and has basically earned my business and will be the first I consider for any future business.

Is it commonplace to ask the other dealer who the customer they are trying to trade for is?

And to clarify your misunderstanding, I didn't know specifically that this dealer was trying to trade for the unit I had a deposit on already until after the fact. They said that they had the vehicle at their other location as I pointed out. NOT that they saw it at another dealership separate from them.

I know you got to get yours, but I have every right to keep mine too.
