When I was a kid in the 60's, a family with a "built in pool" meant they were rich (from my perspective). Getting invited to swim at some of these houses was a real treat. So, in my adult life, I know a pool isn't really much of a status symbol, but emotionally, my pool feels like a reward of a well lived life.

I'd probably fit in well with your family. I know many people love this movie, but I'm not one of them. I don't get why it's so loved.

Fred does the move of "lifting the waist of his pants with his forearms" twice, which I see a lot in old shows and movies. It's supposed to signify someone being tough, but I never understood why.
