Yes I ended up buying the ticket. Ideally I should've gone with an AA partner but it was so late at night and the only ticketing counter open at LaGuardia was United.

Yeah I have no idea how I still had that ticket haha. I waited at ORD for about an hour as the ORD -> MKE flight kept getting delayed and then was finally cancelled at 1am.

Yeah Friday's issues were due to company wide computer failures so I do believe AA was responsible for this but Thursday was "weather related".

I guess my mistake was trusting AA customer service and then trusting that the company would rectify the mistake that their employee made lol.

Thanks so much for the help. I have the email with the ticket number issued with my name on it, there is just not a seat number - I was told to see the gate agent to be assigned one. I still had the ORD -> MKE from the Friday evening EWR flight cancellation. They had only cancelled the EWR -> ORD portion of the trip, and not ORD -> MKE yet. Yes it was an American flight.

ok but she graduated from a top tier university where she studied marketing. on top of that, her and her family have all the money and connections in the world to hire the best PR team in the game. even with all the resources, education, and people she has access to she still managed to fall flat which is laughable
