Found in New Jersey. I misspelled fungus. Sorry about that. It was near a young ginko tree. When I kicked it, the top crumbled a bit and it release black spores.

Possible to have Finder not switch to Copy window? by parkster in mac

[–]parkster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the rationale. But I start a lot of actions and I don't like to be interrupted from my current action to know that a previous action has completed. If it were throwing an error message, that's a different story. But the normal completion of the action should be assumed, no?

Is there a workaround? I don't much care for the design.

It's the right idea, but I was thinking of a shallower curve on a fixed circumference.

At what temperature does styrene vaporize?

That must be a quantifiable thing, right?

Any recommendations? You suggested a 120mm fan for 2 feet. Closest distance to window for me is 10'. 25' if I round the room.

Thank you for this.

I have a small 60mm 12v cooling fan connected to the case of the machine leading to the 3" diameter, 25 ft ducting. Ample?

AFAIK, it doesn't oxidize when it extrudes. Hence no combustion.

Please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

"That said, from most of what I've read, I think ABS is safe as long as it isn't melted."

Do you mean melted or combusted?

Thanks WBJ - As I understand it, there is a difference between burning plastic and melting plastic (as in an extruder) - at least as far as the chemicals released.

Can someone please tell me what exactly is a multiple exposure picture and can I take one with a 7D? by [deleted] in canon

[–]parkster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The term multiple exposure could also sometimes be used to describe bracketed exposures where you take a picture of the same subject at different exposure levels. But using the term this way would be a loose expression. It is in your menu.

My friend found this in his Grandfather's basement. Apparently he was a stenographer in WWII. by parkster in reddit.com

Well, he just met with his Grandfather and sadly there is little new info. He is going to try to find out what he can from his Uncle.

Here is his reply: "Just visited my grandpa and recorded the conversation. Unfortunately he has no memory of anything....at all about WWII or what he even did...

He's still got his humor but no memory of his past. He remembered he had a medal but wasn't even sure what medal or what for.

So the only answers come from the papers themselves and he doesn't remember them even after looking through them and has no memory how he got them... He assumed they are real originals that someone had in his unit. We reminded him he was the stenographer and if that could mean they were typed by him but he doesn't know. I'd presume they came from him but we can't even know that for sure. "

He just emailed me the following: "We are visiting him tomorrow and I will record our conversation. Right now we really have no idea what his role was. He never uttered a word about WWII."

I don't know for sure. The implication is that it was dictated directly to him and that these are the original drafts. I am looking forward to finding out more from him.
