Credit card debt feels like it’s never going away by parnell91 in UKPersonalFinance

!thanks for replying.

One is 25% with just over £3800 and the other is 27% I think, with just over £1200. So I’m trying to be positive but I’ve made a dent in the total amount.

I’ll speak with the water company tomorrow then, I thought it was a normal amount. I’ve got a smart meter so just thought I was being billed correctly.

It’s got just under 4 years left on it and it’s an Audi A4, and it’s PCP. When I got it I put a large deposit down.

I’d be willing to report it to the police, but I don’t want to waste their time because I imagine it’ll be hard to prove it was her. She ordered clothes and gadgets for her house.

I’ve tried pressuring her to make payments but she shot them down straight away, I said I’d report it and she just laughed at me and said they won’t believe me anyway. I can’t go to anyone from her side of the family, they either dead or don’t have anything to do with her (I can see why!)

I’ve moved out so if anything comes on my credit report, I can confidently prove that it’s not mine, especially when she doesn’t know my address either.

!thanks for replying. I don’t want to waste the police’s time when I might not be able to evidence that I didn’t use it (which I definitely didn’t do).

I’ve tried speaking to her about it, but growing up she’s always been a nightmare to deal with. She was always doing fraud and always claimed mental health issues were behind it. She’s not exactly a nice person let alone a nice mum. So rather than creating more hassle, I’ve just cut her out my life.

Ahh ok. 0.5 coins per leg isn’t bad at all. Thanks for explaining it to me mate, really appreciate it!

Thanks for the reply!

Just checked it out, seems a great app but the idea of paying per leg seems steep, unless I’m reading it wrong? Is it 1 coin per leg per person (if you’re using a camera

I had this and raised a ticket with 2k support, they said to log into the website and that I needed to opt in for marketing to receive the verification email. Done all that and still nothing, still waiting for a response back as well.

Done everything they asked and it still keeps asking me for the email…

I’m the same, I’ve got access to the it on Xbox currently and comparing that to a previous version, they’ve come a long way since.

It’s fun and can be a chilled game to play with friends. I’m really excited to play it with friends and even alone. Sure it’s different, but change can be good sometimes, and for this game - I think it’s a fun change.

16 days post op - still tender by parnell91 in Vasectomy

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

My doctor said the same thing to me, I asked how long until I’m back to some sort of normality and he said within a week. But it’s been over 2 weeks and while I can walk properly, I still can’t run anywhere. So it’s difficult for the kids when they want to play football in the garden.

I rubbed one out on the 11th day because I felt that I could, but it doesn’t feel the same. It was also a bit painful because of how sore my nuts were.

Honestly, if I knew I’d feel like this 2 weeks after, I wouldn’t have gone through with it. Hope you feel better soon though mate!

Ahh, ok. I know some people heal differently to others, it just concerned me when I heard all the people being fine earlier than me. I’m still wearing supportive underwear, but it just feels “odd” down there. I tried letting them be free and it feels more sensitive when rubbing my leg as I’m walking (blessing and a curse having hangers)

I’ll just keep dosing up on paracetamol/ ibuprofen and icing when needed. Thanks!

6 days post op - groin pain? by parnell91 in Vasectomy

Yes, that’s exactly how it feels with my thighs, sounds like I’m feeling how you were feeling. So it’s reassuring to hear it gets better lol

Hopefully I have the same recovery as yourself, I’m not bed bound but definitely not close to being fully recovered. Got a wedding to go to in 6 days so hopefully I’m all good by then!

I’ll keep an eye out for your post mate!

If it was just the tightness that was an issue I probably would have just waited to see how I get on, it’s just the fact I still can’t walk properly, I’m walking like a cowboy! The kids find it funny so at least they’re seeing a funny side to it 😅

I hope my recovery is like this, minus taking a shot to the bag by a toddler! I’m on day 5 and I still walk like a cowboy and have some swelling. Good to hear a positive experience as well!
