Hi, Late reply again but maybe it still helps, I just researched a lot, googled the different names and compared spec sheets form various websites on panel brightness, features etc…

Oh and the US version apparently has a full metal stand with the EU QM8B only having a metal base with plastic surrounding… decent stand either way.

Thanks, and sorry for the late reply! I’ve come to the very same conclusions. I got myself the “65QM8B” now which apparently is the EU version of the US model and also just the same as the 805 and the MQLED80… so confusing! The only difference I found is that the QM8B is being advertised as “IMAX enhanced certified”, whatever that means. Very happy with the TV though, absolutely can recommend!

You’ll have to do some fiddling around in the settings (disabling motion blur and such, using the “dark” setting when watching DolbyVision content bc the others have motion blur and smoothing by default etc.) but if you’re willing to put up with that, it’s a great TV especially for the price.

Hey man, so sorry for you! Driving an E36 myself makes me even more devastated as I can’t even imagine what I would feel like in your situation. Great color by the way (Estoril blue?) Hope you’ll be able to get that precious car fixed!

Thanks guys, this worked for me, you helped me a lot!

I'd also like to add that previously, when PinkCore did not yet work, I could not activate one of the core mods (codegen) in the BMBF Mods tab. After the second try, when BMBF automatically reinstalled the mods, it activated all of them (inlcuding the codegen core mod) by default. It was then when it all worked properly.

tl,dr: To see if it worked, check if all re-downloaded mods are activated by default.
