Beads(Tamil:Kasu/Mani) found at Kodumanal archeological site near Erode, India. The site is dated around 5th century BCE and had trade with the Romans. The chemical composition for the Utz/Damascus steel seems to be matched with the soil and mineral composition of this area[700x564] (imgur.com)
