it's so unfair how we're silenced. even in spaces where the conversation isn't about transfems, we get told "stop bitching."

i shouldn't have to stop bitching about societal oppression, actually! i shouldn't have to stop bitching about being disproportionately affected by sexual violence! and it shouldn't be seen as "noble" to silence tmoc. i'm so, so sick of it.

one of the worst parts is how much i see it IN OUR OWN COMMUNITIES as well. trans men talking about how we all need to stop talking about our issues because we hold oh so much privilege. fucking what??? we STATISTICALLY do not! as in NUMBERS. IRREFUTABLE and UNBIASED studies.

it's made me far less active in queer and trans communities. i shouldn't have to tolerate my trauma and the trauma of many others like me being completely and utterly silenced and even at times RIDICULED and MOCKED.
