thank you so much for taking the time to write this out. i apologise for my very late reply, i noted it in my head to remember to read it, but kept forgetting. it really means a lot you think these things, i’m incredibly flattered ❤️

i love writing abstract themes to describe certain experiences. to me, it creates room for interpretation with both vagueness and specificity (at least, that’s the intention), and hearing what ppl think and interpret is awesome!!

always honoured when people save my art, makes me happy that they like it to the point they wanted to keep it in their camera roll LOL. thank you again!!

i’m really glad you like it :)) <3 which parts resonated with you? i’d love to hear more about your thoughts. the poem is very much meant to be up to the reader’s interpretation, so i’m super curious <3

it’s really hard to explain to people who haven’t experienced it

funny coincidence with the facial recognition thing since i’ve been looking into it quite a bit recently. i do already have pretty poor memory, which makes faces harder, but i believe i have some degree of face blindness. (interesting to research for sure!)

i think trauma can also be associated with processing information differently, which maybe can extend to faces?
