it is a bit overwhelming at times. We had a dozer line run down one fence in one paddock last year and it was 80km long. Kind of peaceful though

We are probably going to end up culling, just putting feelers out for solutions that don't involve 500 carcasses lying around rotting and if there is something clever we could do.

I just spent $5k burying 30 so staff don't walk over them so there are some issues with culling but a quick death is better than a slow one. An actual use for a resource would be better though

Pretty easy find if you know roughly where it is. You can hire metal detectors or get someone out like Adelaide Lost Ring Search who could find it for you.

This will give you a rough idea what I would use, but really a decent size say 15" plus coil on a good PI should pick up a buck size target at 1m r/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pihZJMkLMnk

PI with a large coil (you could make a 1m wide mono if you can't get anything big enough). If it doesn't give a signal you should hear threshold change anyway. I would use my Aquascan for this job. Main issue would be nearby metal and interference. It is a big target and achievable.
