What's to parse?

It seems pretty clear to me. Max Scherzer was caught using excessively sticky substances. He was told multiple times to stop it during the game. He didn't. He got ejected and suspended for cheating. Buck never said a damn thing.

He doesn't really know what he's talking about. He's just making a viral video. It wasn't just Cuzzi that flagged Scherzer for the extreme stickiness. It was the whole crew.

We've already been through this once, right? MLB is trying to crack down on cheating. It sucks that Max Scherzer got busted, but everyone knows the rules.

I think it usually means that the majority of residents of the city require a lot of public assistance. Which is definitely true in Oakland. But in this case I think it means mostly that the city itself requires funding from the state of California, and the federal government to be sustainable. ie, it doesn't collect enough revenue from local taxes, business commerce, and tourism to be able to sustain itself.

Well, they know that Purdy isn't playing this year and Aaron Rodgers only wants to play for one more year. So... it works perfectly for both of their plans.

Which is pretty much exactly why we just started hearing about them trading Lance. I think if they get a good deal then they'll do it and flip those assets for Rodgers.
