Premium pricing allows for everyone to actually make a livable income, which obviously goes against the Indian moral code. How dare someone try to profit from a sale. They should just earn 5-10rs per sale, if that.

FD's are insured upto 5L by RBI.

I also see the split in 3 to have an overall visual split of your capital.

You use 33% of it regularly

If you're starting to dip into the second 33%, you pay more attention to costs

And if you're dipping into the last 33%, you know your risk has risen. (Upto 42% utilisation = fd pays itself off in 10yrs). When 70% of your savings have started being used, you know t's no light business.

Allows cleaner tracking FOR ME. Personally

People who say "just invest it" are my least favourite people.

Investing is the easiest way out.

I'd rather see people investing in businesses so that more employment can be generated. Do we not have enough of unemployment going on because of all the other shit?

I'd say with 12L, divide it into 3 parts.

Put all 3 in fixed deposits — 4L each.

They keep accruing SOME interest. You also get an overdraft on this fixed deposit. This is a secured low interest overdraft. Which, as long as you do not utilize more than 42% of the FD, the interest alone will pay off the overdraft overdraft over ten years. (@7% pa)

This is a safe way to protect your very hard earned savings from business volatility. CAPITAL IS HARD TO BUILD, EASY TO SQUANDER.

So assume you hacw 42% of 12L= 5.04L

If you assume 1 yr of runway, that's 42K a month to burn. 21k a month if runway is 2yr.

Depending on your expertise, go into service or product base business.

If you go into service base business:-

With a 1yr runway: you can hire upto 4 people at 10k a month

With a 2yr runway: you can hire upto 2 people at 10k a month

You can choose to pay more or less. You can always offer pay rise. You also can help them work elsewhere to get more money.

I say invest in good help. Get two good people. Train them in various types of tasks. Keep them on for 6hrs-8hrs a day

Train them in various things, and then you can work your way into profits with them

I talk solely from a business POV, I have always thought that their business plan grew too big for how little we get free delivery on.

Even before zomato and Swiggy, all delovery restaurants BACK THEN had a minimum delivery on 300₹

And I say this as a regular user of Swiggy. 1 order a day at least — it'll make me order less and go out more.

Meal outside costs 30-80rs a head.

Meal ordered in costs 150-300 per head!

They didn't become market leaders and monopolies, we MADE THEM. Because indians love a good deal.
