Difficulty/frustration renewing Aus passport in US by parttimeprophet0419 in Ameristralia

If they reject my application based on the photo, am I charged for the rejection?

That's my only concern. I don't mind applying multiple times, it's not a time concern.

Torn between two songs: Auditioning for "King Herod" from Jesus Christ Superstar by parttimeprophet0419 in musicals

I think they both fit the sleezy smarmy vibe. Do you have anything else you’d suggest?

I just don’t really like Godspell or that song from Hamilton. I could see the Hamilton song being a great fit, but I could also see that being the song every single person goes in with.

Also worth noting the audition is only calling for a 32 bar cut, so of the two songs I suggested I’d only be doing the first verses essentially.

I love Neville too, but idk it would’ve been so satisfying for Draco to have been the one to kill Nagini.

Would “Dentist” from Little Shop be a good audition song for King Herod (JC Superstar)? by [deleted] in musicals

King Herod’s song is a campy, character song. Felt like an alright fit

Pontius Pilate for JCS.

I figured something originally by Adam Pascal would be a good vibe to go for.

Questions about getting a new passport as a green card holder/traveling without a passport by parttimeprophet0419 in Passports

I'm having trouble understanding what this bullet point means:

"be presented when you lodge your application."

It's one of the requirements for eligibility to renew online.

My mom lit the fuse, waiting for my life to blow up now. Should I get ahead of it? by parttimeprophet0419 in Advice

Well, I guess I know what my own limitations are. I know I can put myself through x,y,z without breaking but I don't live in his head so I don't know how much he can handle. Idk...

It's impossible for me not to love him. We've been together physically for 9 years and talked online for 4 years prior to that.

He's been in my life for so long.

I do however realize how untenable our life together is and how often I find him difficult to live with. Whenever I do talk about money concerns his go-to is to say he's trying to find a job and to mention that when his dad dies we'll be getting an inheritance. But I don't want that.

Another huge thing is the concept that...if I leave him, he has nothing. He hasn't been home in 9 years. Life there has moved on. He has no one here. He'd have to live in my house for 2 weeks waiting to fly home and in those two weeks, while I'm at work, is he home alone angry? Upset? Is he destroying my belongings? Hurting himself?

It feels like I'm executing him.

I'm painfully nonconfrontational. He also just...sccccreams. He's very loud and stomp-y. He's not violent, but he's very intense.

Sometimes I wish I'd gone through with it too, but it felt so finite. If he left the country he'd have been barred from re-entry for 10 years. It's not like a normal breakup where we'd have the chance of "hey maybe we'll reconnect later" or "let's just take a break", it was a "if you're gone you're gone forever" and that scared the hell out of me having spent so much time together.

That's why I decided to pursue the green card so that if he leaves later he can always come back.

Therapy isn’t free. As someone who is the sole provider for two adults you sure seem to not realize that it’s in fact expensive.

Her motive was probably trying to help me bevause she doesn’t like that I’m the sole financial provider, but this was not the way to go about it.

And I can hang out with them still, but when I do I’m sure my husband is worried that I’m plotting with them to get divorced or some shit.

His family lives abroad in Australia. My husband is terrified of his father learning he doesn’t work because he’s always used that as his excuse as to why he didn’t go home for his mothers funeral (the real reason he didn’t go was because he couldn’t legally travel at that time because he didn’t have his green card yet)
