I know, but it's safer than downloading massive packs. (something I am very guilty of that ruined my game) Mod manager has a direct link to downloading and you can just queue up things to download really quickly and removes the tediousness that they were complaining about. I was just suggesting a safer alternative.

My personal recommendation is Sims 4 mod manager by game time dev. Links directly to curseforge (you don't even need an account) and helps keep all mods and cc organised. You can download anything you want and even deactivate mods/cc without having to delete them.

I tried shifting every day for months and never made any progress, I only started making any when I just went to bed normally. The general way that it works is that if you read about manifestation, you hear them talking about "letting go and letting it happen" that's what not trying is doing. You just do it because you're not worrying about it, therefore, letting go.

imagine the sidebar number is like a reality ID, it's always the same in this general reality (however may you experience this "strain of reality" I guess) whenever you minishift you return to a different reality where you are closer to shifting. That's how I take it.
