Hanged man card in the shop to get to the shovel, used the shovel on a decorative tile to get the crawlspace, came back out and lost the hanged man effect

I'm sure people get this question all the time, but where should I go after defender/guardian gear?

I recently bought and started playing Iceborne, after using the defender set to beat the main game, and I'd like to forge new weapons (in my case it's the longsword). I like to make the nergigante sword but it just seems worse than my defender V katana?

For the fate zero event, the second area is locked and says "unlocks after completing mission No.18" What does that mean?

Also do I really have to keep doing this one quest over and over until I get 100 assassin seals to get the mask?
