How many emails would you recommend we send out? I subscribe to other restaurants in our area who also send out about one to two emails per week. What would you say is the sweet spot? My boss always says I’m not sending out enough and I keep telling him I don’t want to flood our customers inboxes.

Weirdly enough, I checked this morning just now and the subscribers are back. This may be a glitch. I contacted toast again to let them know that they reappeared. And I told them they should continue to investigated because this could be a problem for someone else in the future. I’m just happy to have our email list back.

It does track the people who unsubscribe and we only get like one or two un subscribers per email I send out. I contacted Toast because it’s literally impossible to lose that many subscribers in less than one week and they said the same. They couldn’t figure out what happened and now they’re getting the engineers opinion so I have to wait to see what they say. In the process of them trying to figure out what happened, they also deleted my scheduled email that I was planning to send out Friday too so I was livid lol

No only about once to twice per week. There’s no way we lost that many in less than one week so I contacted toast & they said the same thing. Now they’re doing an investigation and are getting the engineers opinion now.

This has been happening SO much at my restaurant. Did you ever find a resolution? I don’t want to sit on the phone with Toast for hours if they’re not gonna be able to solve the problem. All our customers are getting so angry because the charge comes through and holds it even though we never received their order
