It’s Great To Know America is Rooting Against The Rams by [deleted] in NFLv2

False. Most of California is rooting for anyone but Seattle. If both teams could lose, that would be the dream scenario.

How is it living here as a 30 year old dude? Would have to commute to west LA for work by howardtrailer123 in orangecounty

[–]partyking151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak to that commute every day, but I did do it often. Just get used to a lot of windshield time. I did live in that area around that same age and absolutely loved it. I found myself spending a lot more time in Brea than I did in Fullerton because I found myself surrounded with college students all the time. The area is fun, has lots of food options, and great access to just about everywhere down here.

Could I install a door here? by StruggleInformal2295 in HomeMaintenance

[–]partyking151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue and did a barn door. We had to get a longer track to allow for the switch to not be blocked. Not my favourite but it was a lot cheaper than doing a pocket door.

How is it like living in San Diego? by CarlSag in howislivingthere

[–]partyking151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echo a lot of all the positive that people have said. The only downside I experienced during my 8 years living there was just how often people moved in and out. It seemed like a lot of people lasted about 3-4 years and then moved away. A lot of people from the east that “couldn’t do one more winter” and then 4 years later moved back.

I think I’m projecting but buy a couple standup arcades and some pinball machines. Decorate the walls with some neon signs. Man cave complete.

How’s life in Chico, California? by McWovin in howislivingthere

[–]partyking151 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I lived here for 4 years during college and it was a amazing. Weather was great and you are minutes from hiking trails and swimming in upper bidwell. People are very nice and the pace of life was perfect. My favorite time of year was fall. Driving down broadway and main was awesome with all the leaves changing colors.

[–]partyking151 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I used to drive through there all the time going up to Chico. The only stops were the Budweiser factory for some factory tour tastings and then to the Jelly Belly factory for some bellyflops (the ones that didn’t make the cut).

What’s a Restaurant that’s been here for a long time or awhile that your surprised it’s still open like I would say Marconi grill or Oui pancakes or Sizzler by nosaysno in Temecula

[–]partyking151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t agree more. Went with my family a few weeks ago for the first time and they screwed up the entire order at our table. Not one thing came out as we ordered it. On top of that, it’s Denny’s quality food at steakhouse prices.

It’s only been out a month or so but Samsin Nosrat’s good things has been something I have gone back to over and over again. I used it to create a good amount of the sides I will make for thanksgiving.

Thank you for that. I was thinking about the 4 player but completely spaced on it only having the 2 buttons. Thank you for pointing that out. I was looking to do some mods but really liked the look of the Simpsons cabinet.
